5-Day Kenai Peninsula Itinerary
Basecamp: Kenai Adventure Cabins – Soldotna, Alaska

Day 1 — Arrival in Soldotna
- Arrive in Soldotna, Alaska and check into Kenai Adventure Cabins (4:00 PM check-in)
- Take a scenic walk along the Kenai River at Centennial Park
- Unpack, relax, and settle into Basecamp
- Meet other travelers and start your Alaska Adventure
Day 2 — Guided Kenai River Fishing
- Full-day guided fishing trip on the Kenai River with Explore Kenai (just 15 minutes from the cabins)
- Target world-class salmon in one of Alaska’s most iconic fisheries
- Return to the cabins for an evening BBQ and campfire
- Share stories and enjoy a true Alaska fishing lodge experience
Day 3 — Seward & Glacier Cruise
- Day trip to Seward, Alaska (approximately 2-hour scenic drive from Soldotna)
- Morning wildlife and glacier cruise with Kenai Fjords Tours
– View massive tidewater glaciers, icefields, whales, sea otters, puffins, and seabirds - Spend time exploring Seward’s harbor, local shops, and cafes
- Return to the cabins for dinner and relaxation
Day 4 — Homer Halibut Fishing

Day 1 — Arrival in Soldotna

Day 2 — Guided Kenai River Fishing

- Return to the cabins and grill up your catch
Day 3 — Hiking & Scenic Kenai Peninsula Drive
